Dear members

Happy new year to you all once again the fishing season is fast approaching! We would like to see you all at the AGM if possible at the Boat of Garten hotel on Tuesday 7th of February for 7pm.

Saturday 11th opening day there will be a get together to open the season at Boat bridge for 11.00am.

Rod catches were similar to 2022. We started off with a very good spring catch then as the season progressed the water levels dropped away and the fish became very elusive!! It is good to see that fishermen are returning their catches into the water as this must help the future run of these dish. For the coming season please can we remind of the club rules.

All spring fish to be returned until 1st of May then please remember 2nd or 4th cock fish can be retained but please fish over 10lb should be returned throughout the season as they will become brood stock! No finnock to be retained. All seatrout over 3lb to be returned only one sea-trout per angler to be taken  in 24 hours and 1st to 30th September all sea trout must be returned. We as a club must take responsibility to try and preserve fish stocks and help the Spey board as much as we can .

No worm fishing before 1st of May or after 31st August
